Ambie’s Story

My love for art, design, and adventure led me to auctions, estate sales, and thrift stores back in the 1980s. I searched for antiques, designer fashion, quality furniture, and unique treasures of all kinds. I opened my first design boutique on Nantucket Island in 1989, curating my best finds and developing a signature whimsical, coastal style that was featured in national magazines.

With a background in faux finishing, furniture restoration, and design, I became skilled at spotting quality pieces. My boutiques in Nantucket and Florida catered to collectors and design lovers who trusted me to find the best of the best.

After many years, I decided to close my stores and become a full-time thrift scout. Now, I spend most days searching thrift stores all over Palm Beach County, using my decades of experience to uncover hidden gems, identify valuable pieces, and share my knowledge with you.

I don’t buy most of what I post, but I love showing you what’s out there, what to look for, and where to find the best deals. After years of mastering the art of thrifting, I know exactly where to go, how to spot the true treasures, and score the best deals. Now, I love passing that expertise on to you!
